It’s back! The Downtown Holiday Market returns for another year of shopping, eating, and the fun, bustling scenes of the season. The open air village market occupies two blocks of F Street (between 7th and 9th) and features over 70 exhibitors. You can do a little gift shopping, pick up holiday décor to spruce up your space, or check out the latest wares from incredible local artisans.
The Downtown Holiday Market is a gorgeous place to get in the holiday spirit as well, with plenty of twinkling lights, plus festive sounds courtesy of Howard University’s gospel choir, King Street Bluegrass, and more. Food trucks will be on site to keep you well-fed, including The Taste of Germany, Alexa’s Empanadas, and Old Blue BBQ. You can also make a whole day of it and visit some of the nearby museums or restaurants before or after your visit. The Downtown Holiday Market is open Friday, November 20 through December 23.
