From a holiday market in a small garden to an annual block-wide celebration. A key incubator for Washington, DC’s makers and craftspeople.
From December 2-4 stroll through a festive German-style craft market! From the Heurich House Museum’s garden up New Hampshire Avenue NW toward Dupont Circle. With a Glühwein in hand, find the perfect holiday gifts for your loved ones.
The Market will feature 50+ local small-scale makers, a mini-exhibit about the museum’s historic revival of the Chr. Heurich Brewing Co.’s Senate Beer, children’s ornament making, and more! Your visit to the Christmas Markt not only supports DC’s local craftspeople directly but also helps the museum provide services to them all year long.
This year’s market hours include December 2nd from 4 – 8 pm, the 3rd from 12 noon – 8 pm, and the 4th from 12 noon – 6 pm.
When purchased online, tickets cost $12 for General Admission and $18 for GA and Senate Beer. Then, at the door, GA tickets cost $14 and the GA+Senate Beer tickets cost $20. Then, tickets for kids from 2 – 15 always cost $2, and children under 2 are free.
Tickets will be good for any day of the market!
